Just a quick shout out to Pedr Browne , our resident AS2 Port owner and designer of our cool new logotype. After trying a number of different designs, Pedr suggested that the crystalline structure of a snowflake was suggestive of purity and pattern. I was fond of the blue/black/grey/white colors on the existing site. The Snowflake Device was nice, and to top it off, he added a nice little cube with 3 colors in the center, evoking a nice tight package that the structure evolved from, like the grain of sand at the center of a pearl. But the Snowflake doesn't appear on the puremvc.org site, only the Box. What gives? Two reasons. First, the size of the Flake limits the size of the text, making the logo smaller, if it is to fit in the current area. Also, there is another project afoot; The Manifold Project. It is an entire web of interlinked repository/wiki sites supporting all the community contributed projects that extend and demonstrate use of the framework. Organized around the port (language/platform) and its demos and utilities, it is primarily about the code, how to install it, what it does and how to use it in your own programs. Though the Manifold will be framed within the main puremvc.org site , it will also be landed on directly from search engine results and direct linking, so it must be seen as an entirely self-contained project.
